Match #10: Spain vs Sweden

AB: Going for a surprise 1-0 win for Sweden in this one. Luis Enriques plans have been hampered with a COVID infection to Busquets, and this is the first big tournament that they are playing without Sergio Ramos in a while, and I feel that the Spain team is going to miss their leadership and may not be able to get over the line.

Sweden, even without Zlatan are a team to reckon with on the big stage. My bet is on Isak to score a smash and grab winner. Spain will control possession but will struggle against a resolute Sweden side.

AK:

Going for 1-0 Spain with Moreno getting the winner. Expect a tight match from Sweden but they lack real quality and with the over rated and error prone Lindelof leading the backline, expect Spain to capitalize on that. Luis Enrique had made controversial decisions on squad selection but still has a fairly decent team on his hand.

dark7knight:

Spain's backline doesn't inspire much confidence, with an ageing Alba who played the entire season as more of LWB than a LB, an inexperienced CB duo made up of 1 untried youngster and 1 French discard, and a midfielder playing as a RB, this Spain team is a far cry from the 2008-2012 champions. Though Busquets out maybe a blessing in disguise to have a strong & fit mid in Rodri, Koke/Pedri & Thiago (busquests is no spring chicken and he's never been the fastest either), up front I have my doubts in Morata leading the line.

Sweden may also not have their star players, but Sweden n the Nordic teams have always been about team work and hard work, so that won't really mater to them. With both sides having susceptible defences, going for a 2-2 draw..
